All that exists, including the upper worlds, receive their vital essence from the light of the Shechinah.
But the one who is engaged in Torah becomes a part of the Shechinah itself.
He is higher even than the creative light that is active in the world, being connected with the Divine Will, which is beyond the world.
Therefore, when one is thus united with God in Torah, one is far beyond anything that is of the world, which is no more than a vessel for His will.
