Even when two people have much in common emotionally and intellectually, there still remains a divide between them.
This is even more true in the relationship between man and God.
And whenever–due to a mismatch of time or situation-=it is not possible to build a true connection, then all that exist are illusions and the subjective sense of a relationship.
On the other hand, this is not so when a relationship is built on doing someone’s work, when between the will–which is beyond understanding and emotion–and the deed, there is no intermediary.
When a person does someone’s will, he does not have to understand it.
And so the relationship created by his action does not have to break through the obstacles that exist in relationships based on comprehension.
The only question is whether or not he has done that person’s will.
