A person should contemplate the following questions:
What exactly are the Torah and mitzvot?
What is the significance of engaging in them?
The answer to this is that when a person performs a practical commandment such as donning tzitzit or tefillin, or when he learns a chapter of Mishna or a verse of the Torah, doing so leads to the revelation of an infinite essence within him.
