The divine light that animates the body and the divine light that vivifies the soul are not two separate forces, but one force, the force of God, that vivifies the existence of man, body and soul together.
On the most basic level, this is the divine force that allows for the existence of everything in our world: inanimate matter, plant life, animals and human beings, the physical and spiritual, as well as the ways that they relate to each other.
