Both the Zohar and Talmud use the term “upon,” alluding to the fact that the Divine Presence is atop and above one’s head, meaning in an encompassing manner, and not “in his head,” meaning in an internal
manner.
One who experiences the Divine Presence in his head has attained the status of a prophet who merits seeing the revelation of God’s presence.”
