There is a kind of mechanism in man whereby even when he is hit with one affliction after another, he remains unmoved.
When retribution comes, everyone immediately looks at his neighbor instead of deep within himself and, as a result, nothing changes.
So long as one knows who caused all these afflictions, it is easy to live with all the troubles.
In spite of all the admonishment, everything remains as it was before.
