We have different levels for Kohanim, Levi’im, Yisra’elim, for men and women, for scholars and ignoramuses, and so on.
Therefore, if you live in a society that claims that there are no differences, that everything is equal, you have to make a choice between the assumptions of that society and those of Judaism.
