When Maimonides writes of the death of Moses our Master, he formulates the matter in a unique way:
“And what befell him was death, for us …but life, for him, considering the level to which he ascended. “
He does not say that Moses died, for such a thing does not pertain to people like Moses our Master.
The tzaddik did leave this world, but this is a completely different level, involving “death by a kiss” – man’s soul “kisses” God.
The small fire meets the large fire and is included in it.
