The world does not function entirely in accordance with the Divine Will.
There is a certain amount of independence – such as the play of free choice given to each individual-whereas the Torah is completely an expression of God’s will.
Evidently, this expression may not be altogether understood, but, at least, one has the reliable foundation of the letters of the Torah to fall back on.
If one is sincere in the search for the source of faith, one can get beyond any single level of comprehension.
As it is said: Even if one studies Torah without knowledge of its esoteric meanings, but does so “for the sake of Heaven,” all the various levels of the Torah are revealed.
And in Torah, there is no distortion or artificiality, there is only a contraction of holiness into various molds.
