God lives in all created things.
Otherwise created things could not know God at all
Indeed it is only because the Divine dwells in them that they can react to stimuli.
To be sure, God can accomplish this only if He remains incognito, unrecognized as it were.
His light, were it manifest, would demolish the separate existence of things.
In other words, God has to conceal himself in order to dwell in reality.
