Someone who takes no pleasure in card playing does not have the intrinsic right to disparage another person enveloped in its atmosphere and culture.
Instead of looking down at the card player, comparing his waste of time with one’s own important and perhaps even holy endeavors, a person must ask himself if he would be willing to wage a spiritual fight as difficult as one the card player would face in order to stop playing cards.
