There are different ways to the desired goal of fulfillment in the love of God.
The fact is, men can spend all their lives in aspiration toward, or longing for, a Divine love that will fill their souls, leaving them satisfied and somehow at rest.
But like so many romantic motifs in human life, the yearning for love's fulfillment often ends with disappointment in its finitude.
The true love has to be without end; everything genuine has to be beyond possible satiety.
